ADOPT-A-GRANNY PROJECT

This is a sponsorship programme through HelpAge International where selected poor older persons in Kenya benefits from assistance from their sponsors in UK . The financial assistance comes after every three months and administered to the older persons by HelpAge Kenya 's partners on the ground. Currently, there are 31 projects nationally covering 31 districts in Kenya . This project is currently undergoing some changes in its implementation to foster sustainability and empower older persons to participate more in making decisions affecting their lives.
